We may keep data longer where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or where the law requires it. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rightsUnder the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), where there is no legal reason for us to keep it;
- restrict processing in certain cases;
- data portability: receive data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (for example analytics cookies), without affecting earlier processing.
To exercise your rights, write to
[email protected] or
[email protected]. Because you sign in with Steam, we may ask you to confirm your request from your signed-in account so that we can verify it is you. We answer within one month; we may extend this by two more months for complex requests and will tell you if we do. Exercising your rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Some data cannot be erased immediately: transaction and ledger records that we must keep for accounting, tax or anti-money-laundering reasons are kept for the required period and then deleted.
